Advice for first time users of the e-cigarette

The main message for someone considering using e-cigs for the first time is to make sure to be well informed, and do as much reading and research as possible.
Most important is to decide on the level of nicotine required and then make sure that the chosen product is well labelled and that other people have used and been happy with it. In other words choose a well known brand and find out where it is manufactured.  In the early days of the electronic cigarette they were imported from China, and were generally of a very poor quality, with inconsistent nicotine content.
E-cigs have now been around long enough for certain brands to have come to the forefront for reliability.  However, many companies show reviews of their product without disclosing that the reviewer works for the company.  Therefore, independent reviews are most useful.
The e-cig, electronic cigarette or electronic nicotine delivery system (ENDS) are now very well established and many people have found using them has helped them to cut down or stop smoking altogether.
However, the debate as to their safety continues, with the most often expressed view from users being that they cannot possibly be as dangerous as tobacco, and many believe them to be an absolutely safe alternative.
